July 14, 2019 - Landers Visits Lucas Oil Speedway for CMH Diamond Nationals
On Saturday night Gavin Landers was one of 39 Super Late Models on hand at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the two-day CMH Diamond Nationals. Following a 6th place finish in his heat, Landers grabbed the 3rd and final transfer spot in his B-Main which positioned him 21st on the starting grid for the A-Main. Holding his spot for all 60-laps, Gavin posted a 21st place outing.

The following night for another $15,000-to-win A-Main, Landers logged an 8th place finish in is heat giving him one final shot at the finale with a B-Main appearance. He was a scratch from the 12-lap consolation event.

June 29, 2019 - 13th Place Finish in Round Two of Freedom Classic at Salina
Friday night brought Gavin Landers to Salina Highbanks Speedway (Salina, Oklahoma) for the two-day ARMI Freedom Classic. With 29 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries on hand for the event co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil MLRA, Landers got caught in a tangle in his heat that forced him to retire early. Passing six cars in his B-Main, Gavin reeled in a 6th place finish which positioned him 21st on the starting grid for the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Landers gained seven spots to place 14th.

Returning on Saturday for the $5,000 top prize, Gavin followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with a 5th place finish in his B-Main. Starting the feature in 20th, Landers improved seven spots in the 40-lapper notching a 13th place finish. (Todd Boyd photo)

June 15, 2019 - Rough Night in Rockabilly 45 at I-30 Speedway
Gavin Landers returned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) on Saturday evening at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for the ninth annual Rockabilly 45. In a field of 32 cars, Landers got caught in a tangle in his heat that transferred him into the B-Main. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation win, Gavin earned the 18th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. June 1, 2019 - Landers Attends Clash at the Mag at Magnolia
Thursday found Gavin Landers in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the opening night of the Geico Clash at the Mag. Drawing 39 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Gavin posted an 8th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 4 to make the opening night feature, Landers fell one short with a 5th place finish.

The following night for another $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Landers recorded a 9th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the show. Sending the Top 4, Gavin logged a 10th place outing.

Wrapping up the Geico Clash at the Mag on Saturday, Gavin had one more shot at the $15,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Transferring the Top 2 into the show, Landers came two positions short with a 4th place finish.

May 25, 2019 - Gavin Landers Visits Legit for Scrappin' 40
After Mother Nature wiped out his original plans, Gavin Landers traveled to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri) on Friday evening for the two-day Scrappin’ 40. In a field of 26 cars, Gavin locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. With $2,000 on the line, Landers slipped back to a 19th place outing in the 25-lap affair.

Returning on Saturday for the $3,000 top prize, Landers followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with a runner-up finish in his B-Main behind Robby Moore. Starting the finale in 17th, Gavin jumped up one spot in the 50-lapper to place 16th.

May 17, 2019 - Landers Attends TruAcre 50 at 34 Raceway
Gavin Landers was one of 35 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries signed in at 34 Raceway (Burlington, Iowa) on Thursday night for the TruAcre 50. Coming in 9th in his heat, Landers transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Sending the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win show, Gavin fell short with  a 10th place outing.

April 20, 2019 - Landers Follows CCSDS to Legit Speedway Park
After losing Friday’s opener at OId No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) to Mother Nature, Gavin Landers followed the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri) on Saturday night for the $3,000 top prize. Following a 6th place finish in his heat, Landers logged a 6th place finish in his B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the feature. Starting in 20th, Gavin gained five spots in the 40-lapper to place 15th.

March 23, 2019 - Top 5 Finish with Comp Cams at Boothill Speedway
Gavin Landers kicked off the 2019 season on Friday evening at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season-opener. In a field of 24 cars, Landers recorded the 11th fastest time in qualifying before placing 4th in his heat. Starting the opening night feature in the 11th, Gavin dropped one spot in the 40-lapper to place 12th.

The following night at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana), Gavin secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Tony Jackson Jr. Rolling off 6th, Landers jumped one spot notching 5th place finish behind Billy Moyer, B.J. December 4, 2018 - Gavin Landers Wraps Up 2018 Season
Traveling to a total of 39 events during the 2018 season, Gavin Landers and the Double L Motorsports team captured one win with Kyle Strickler behind the wheel of his Nutrien Ag Solutions #77 ASC Warranty/ Longhorn Chassis/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model for the annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, MS). Losing nine of his scheduled dates to Mother Nature, Landers collected 19 Top-10 outings and nine Top-5 finishes. He also finished fourth in the final COMP Cams Super Dirt Series point standings.

November 3, 2018 - Top 5 Finish in All American 60 at Jackson Motor Speedway
Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Gavin Landers was one of 25 cars signed in at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the All American 60. Following the eighth fastest time in his group, Gavin posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Dane Dacus locking his spot into the $6,000-to-win A-Main. Reeling in a podium finish, Landers scored a 5th place spot behind Dane Dacus, Hunter Rasdon, Jack Sullivan, and B.J. Robinson.

October 27, 2018 - 19th Place Finish in Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park
Friday night found Gavin Landers in action at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the 24th annual Coors Light Fall Classic. With 43 Super Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Landers timed in 11th fastest in his qualifying group before placing 6th in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the main event, Gavin grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot positioning him 24th on the starting grid for the finale. With $15,000 on the line, Gavin Landers gained five spots in the 75-lap affair to place 19th.

October 13, 2018 - Landers Follows CCSDS to Lucas Oil Speedway for Fall Nationals
After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program, Gavin Landers was one of 44 cars signed in at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Saturday for the event co-sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA. Coming in 6th in his heat race, Landers transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win Fall Nationals. Transferring the Top 3, Gavin fell two spots short with a 5th place finish.

October 6, 2018 - Kyle Strickler Wins Gumbo Nationals Finale at Greenville Speedway
On Friday evening Kyle Strickler jumped behind the wheel of the Double L Motorsports #77 Super Late Model for the two-day Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). Drawing 36 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) entries, Strickler locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 12th, Kyle dropped one position in the 40-lapper to place 13th.

Returning on Saturday night, Strickler registered a 3rd place finish in his heat positioning him 11th on the starting grid for the finale. Inheriting the lead late when the leader suffered a flat-tire, Kyle Strickler topped Chad Thrash, Brian Rickman, B.J. Robinson, and Robbie Stuart at the line to pick up his first Super Late Model victory of the season and an $8,000 payday.
