October 13, 2018 - Landers Follows CCSDS to Lucas Oil Speedway for Fall Nationals
After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program, Gavin Landers was one of 44 cars signed in at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Saturday for the event co-sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA. Coming in 6th in his heat race, Landers transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win Fall Nationals. Transferring the Top 3, Gavin fell two spots short with a 5th place finish.

October 6, 2018 - Kyle Strickler Wins Gumbo Nationals Finale at Greenville Speedway
On Friday evening Kyle Strickler jumped behind the wheel of the Double L Motorsports #77 Super Late Model for the two-day Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). Drawing 36 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) entries, Strickler locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 12th, Kyle dropped one position in the 40-lapper to place 13th.

Returning on Saturday night, Strickler registered a 3rd place finish in his heat positioning him 11th on the starting grid for the finale. Inheriting the lead late when the leader suffered a flat-tire, Kyle Strickler topped Chad Thrash, Brian Rickman, B.J. Robinson, and Robbie Stuart at the line to pick up his first Super Late Model victory of the season and an $8,000 payday.

September 28, 2018 - Gavin Landers Attends Race for Hope 74 at Batesville
On Tuesday night Gavin Landers was one of 114 IMCA Modifieds signed in at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) for the second annual Race for Hope 74. With time trials on Tuesday setting the line-ups for heat races on Wednesday night, Landers registered the 46th fastest time overall positioning him 5th on the starting grid for his heat race. Transferring only the race winner into the Wednesday's preliminary feature, Gavin dropped three spots to place 8th.

The following night, Landers held his spot in his heat race recording a 4th place finish. Slated to roll off 24th in his B-Main for another shot at the preliminary feature, Gavin discovered mechanical issues before the start of the event that prevented him from making it out. (Mike Spieker photo)

Returning on Friday night for last shot at the at Saturday’s finale, Landers scored a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jake O’Neil. Transferring into the C-Main, Gavin fell short of a transfer spot with a 26th place outing.

September 15, 2018 - Podium Finish With CCSDS at Springfield Raceway
Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Gavin Landers was one of 18 cars signed in at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Missouri) on Saturday night for the $3,000 top prize. Earning the pole position for the feature via preliminary events, Gavin held the lead for the first two laps until fading two spots in the remaining 38 circuits to place 3rd behind Payton Looney and Jack Sullivan with Hunter Rasdon and Cole Wells completing the Top-5 finishers.

September 2, 2018 - Top 10 Finish With CCSDS at Greenville Speedway
Friday night saw Gavin Landers in action at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) kicking off the action-packed Labor Day Weekend. Drawing 17 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries for the Keg Towing Labor Day Classic 41, Landers earned the 7th-starting position for the opening night feature via preliminary events. With $5,000 on the line, Gavin jumped up one spot in the 41-lapper notching a 6th place finish.

After missing Saturday’s program, Landers returned with the CCSDS on Sunday at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) for the $2,000 top prize. August 25, 2018 - 11th Place Finish With MSCCS at Magnolia
Gavin Landers invaded Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned program. August 4, 2018 - Gavin Landers Visits I-30 Speedway for Kuntz Classic

July 28, 2018 - Landers Follows CCSDS to Batesville and Legit Speedway
Friday night brought 26 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) followers to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) for the $2,000 top prize. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Landers earned the pole position for the main event. Falling one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Gavin slipped back to a 6th place finish in the 30-lap affair.

The following night at Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Missouri), Landers was an early retiree from his heat race on the second lap transferring him into the B-Main. Slated to start near the tail, Gavin elected to use a provisional into the finale. With $3,000 on the line, Landers gained seven spots in the 40-lapper to place 14th.

July 21, 2018 - 10th Place Finish at Boothill Speedway
Gavin Landers returned with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) on Saturday night at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) for the $2,500 top prize. In a field of 16 cars, Landers locked his spot into the main event with a 7th place finish in his heat. Breaking into the Top-10, Gavin gained four spots in the 35-lapper notching a 10th place outing.

July 7, 2018 - Landers Records Top 10 Finish With CCSDS at Greenville Speedway
Thursday night found Gavin Landers in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) returning with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). In a field of 26 cars, Gavin locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 5th place finish in his heat. Starting in 15th, Landers passed three cars in the 35-lapper to place 12nd.

On Friday night at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi), Gavin laid down the fifth fastest time in qualifying but Mother Nature wiped out the remaining events after the completion of the first heat race.

June 30, 2018 - 6th Place Finish in CCSDS Action at Tri-State Speedway
Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Gavin Landers traveled to Tri-State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) on Friday night kicking off the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) tripleheader. Drawing 19 Super Late Models, Landers locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Cade Dillard. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish, Gavin posted a 6th place spot in the 40-lap affair.

On Friday evening at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma) for the event co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA), Gavin recorded a 6th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top-6, Landers scored a 5th place finish positioning him 19th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Losing five spots, Gavin Landers logged a 24th place outing. June 16, 2018 - Landers Records 16th Place Finish in Clash at the Mag
Gavin Landers invaded Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Friday night for the two-day Clash at the Mag. With 28 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand, Landers logged a 9th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday. Sending the Top 4 into the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Gavin fell one spot short with a 5th place finish. Receiving a provisional into the show, Gavin Landers passed eight cars in the 100-lapper reeling in a 16th place outing.

May 26, 2018 - Landers Attends Show-Me 100 Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway
On Thursday night Gavin Landers traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tripleheader. With a stout field of 65 Super Late Models on hand for the Cowboy Classic, Landers fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 5th place finish. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Gavin logged an 8th place outing.

The following night after timing in second fastest in his qualifying group behind Kyle Bronson, Gavin landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mason Zeigler. May 12, 2018 - 2nd Place Finish With Comp Cams at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Following the COMP Cam Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Gavin Landers invaded Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night competing in a field of 22 Super Late Models. Improving three spots in his heat race, Landers streaked to an 8-lap heat race victory positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Hanging on to a Top-5 finish in the 35-lap affair, Gavin recorded a 5th place spot trailing Brian Rickman, Ashley Newman, Tanner Kellick, and Hunter Rasdon across the finish line.

May 5, 2018 - Gavin Landers Wrecked While Leading Pelican 50 at Ark-La-Tex
Gavin Landers headed to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) on Saturday night for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned Pelican 50. In a field of 20 cars, Landers laid down the third fastest time in qualifying before picking up an 8-lap heat race victory. Earning the 3rd-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main, Gavin jumped out to an early lead until a lap car made hard contact with him ending his night on lap 7.

On Friday evening Gavin Landers made the trek to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned weekend. Drawing 41 cars for the two-day Queen City Shootout, Landers jumped up two spots in his heat to place 2nd behind Chad Thrash. Earning the 5th-starting position for the opening night feature, Gavin got spun around on lap-18 dropping him back to a 25th place outing.

March 31, 2018 - Landers Bags Top 5 Finish With COMP Cams at Lonestar
Gavin Landers made the trip to Timberline Speedway (Maud, Texas) on Friday evening returning with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). With 24 Super Late Models on hand, Landers recorded the third fastest time in his qualifying group before placing 3rd in his heat. Earning the 11th-starting position for the opening night feature, Gavin improved four spots to place 7th.

March 23, 2018 - Gavin Landers Walks Away From Scary Wreck at Old No. 1 Speedway
Friday night brought Gavin Landers to Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned program. In a field of 27 cars, Landers was running in 2nd in his heat when his throttle got stuck while entering the corner of turn 3 sending him flying into the catch fence. He was able to walk away from the violent collision uninjured.

March 17, 2018 - Landers Attends MSCCS Opener at Jackson
Competing in the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) season opener, Gavin Landers traveled to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Saturday evening for the $2,500 top prize. December 13, 2017 - Gavin Landers Wraps Up 2017 Season
The 2017 season saw Gavin Landers compete in a total of 28 events behind the wheel of the Crop Production Services #777 Super Late Model and three times in the Larry Shaw Race Cars #777 Open Wheel Modified. With the weather determining the outcome of six of his scheduled dates, Landers collected 11 Top-10 outings and four Top-5 finishes. He also finished seventh in the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) point standings.

October 28, 2017 - Landers Places 7th in Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park
Kicking off the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic., Gavin Landers visited Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the unsanctioned weekend. In a field of 42 cars, Landers timed in second fastest in his qualifying group before recording a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Gavin improved six positions in the 100-lap affair notching a 7th place finish.

October 14, 2017 - Top 5 Finish at Old No. 1 Speedway
Gavin Landers made the short trip to Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) on Saturday powering the Double L Motorsports #77 Super Late Model. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Gavin locked his spot into the A-Main. September 30, 2017 - Gavin Landers Attends Race for Hope 74
Competing in the inaugural Race for Hope 74, Gavin Landers headed to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Wednesday night powering the Crop Production Services #77L Open Wheel Modified. In a field of 91 cars, Landers secured his spot into the opening night preliminary feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind J.T. Goodson. Locking the Top 8 into the $20,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday evening, Gavin posted a 23rd place outing.

The following night for another round of preliminary action, Gavin landed a runner-up finish in his heat behind Kurt Kile sending him into the A-Main. Falling short of a Top 10 finish, Landers registered a 15th place spot.

Returning on Friday, Gavin started the night off with a heat race victory locking him into the preliminary feature. Battling for a Top 10 finish, Landers got squeezed into the wall that sent him flipping violently. He was able to walk away from the scary incident unharmed while being credited with a 21st place finish.

After failing to place in the Top 8 in any of the first three preliminary events, Landers’ weekend was over after his wreck on Friday night.
